Grey Eagle is recognized as one of the premier flight training institutions in Southern California. It has one of the most experienced team of professionals, from top to bottom, in the industry. The founder is a retired Navy fighter pilot and Boeing 747 captain with over 25,000 hours of flying experience. The staff consists of a group of instructors with commercial airline, FAR 135 air taxi, and corporate flying with thousands of hours of instructing experience. The Academy is located in the sunny Southwest United States at the McClellan/Palomar Airport in Carlsbad, California, County of San Diego. This location provides the most ideal weather, facilities, and training environment in order to enhance and expedite the training process. The Academy’s goal is to provide the student an environment that is totally dedicated to aviation training and at a reasonable cost. Grey Eagle has recently modernized their facilities with completely computerized classrooms that give the instructor the necessary tools to ensure the student is provided the most up to date training materials and aids that streamlines and expedites their pilot training.
